Description

What you need to know as an industry leading Emergency Manager.

In partnership with the Office of the Fire Marshal & Emergency Mangement (OFMEM) "First Friday's" event the Ontario Association of Emergency Managers (OAEM) is pleased to offer an exciting professional development opportunity.

While the field of workplace mental health has grown exponentially, recommendations have tended to focus on more traditional work environments. In contrast, the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) presents unique demands and challenges in the application of those recommendations. This session will focus on proactive and practical strategies for supporting mental health in the EOC throughout the various functions of the emergency control group.

Registration Limited to 100 participants.

At the Presenters request this event will not be livestreamed or shared through WebEx. Participation in person only.
